How do I calculate KPI's for a Salesperson?

It is well and good to set and income goal for a salesperson, but how will this income goal be achieved?

 

This is where setting key performance indicators becomes essential.  Setting the number of sales, listings, appointments and contacts needed will make the goal achievable.  The key performance indicators can also be compared to benchmarks to identify areas for improvement.
