The system may identify an incomplete answer to warn the user before submitting an incomplete assessment. This could occur for a number of reasons. Some of the most common reasons along with the solutions are discussed below.
REASON: UNEXPECTED CHARACTER
The system may flag an answer as incomplete due to the use of an unexpected character in your answers. For example you have used the $ symbol, % symbol or another symbol that the system is not expecting to be used.
Refer to your instructions. If an answer requires you to enter in a dollar amount, the $ character is typically already provided and therefore does not require this as part of the answer. Simple remove the character and use the numbers only.
REASON: INSUFFICIENT FILES
Some assessment tasks require a specified number of files to be submitted as part of the submission and the system will flag "incomplete answer" if this quota has not been met.
Review the number of files that you have submitted against the assessment tasks requirements. If you believe that you have submitted everything that is required, please proceed and click on the "finish attempt" to submit your assessment for grading. You will not be penalized for the system message.
REASON: INCORRECT FILE TYPE
Some assessment tasks require specific file types as part of the submission, in most cases these are .doc, .pdf, .mp4. If you submit a file outside of the set requirements, this will generate an incomplete answer.
