Video Recorder Tool

Throughout your course you may be required to record a video role play as part of assessment tasks to evidence your ability to perform certain skills as outlined in the performance criteria of a Unit of Competency. 

To make the process of recording and submitting a video for grading as easy as possible you have access to a video recorder tool. To access this tool will will need to click on the "Add Submission" button in the relevant assessment task.  This will activate your tool bar which contains the video recording tool pictured below.

Simply click on the video record tool and click on "Start Recording" to commence.

 

You can record and submit a number of smaller videos as required to meet the requirements for the assessment task. 

Note:  You must have a webcam on your computer to use the video recorder tool.  Alternatively, you can login to your course on your smart phone or smart device to use the video record tool.

    Hi there, To whom so ever it may concern: I am want to load my introduction video. I have tried logging into nrel.com.au it is not working on any of the smart devices. Password has been reset as well by admin. I was wondering if  I can email or whatsapp my video to upload because I haven't got much days to do this course. I really want to move forward.     This video recording tool is applicable to only certain courses.  If you do not have this option available you need tor record the video and then upload as a file.

    You can upload a file into YouTube or similar and provide a link in a word document or similar.  You can make this unlisted so that only those who have the link will be able to view your video. 

    If you choose to take up this option, you must ensure the video remains active for 6 months for compliance purposes associated with records.

     I am unable to understand where to submit the video for             Pre- enrollment. Kindly suggest.

    Hello Nupur,

    You need to be in the learner management system assessment task in the Pre-Enrolment and scroll down to the submission window.  You need click on the Add Submission button to access the video recorder tool.
