Communication Barriers and Client Service Standards

A communication barrier is anything that prevents you from receiving and understanding the messages others use to convey their information, ideas, and thoughts. The problem of communication arises because there are various obstacles that may entirely prevent a communication, filter part of it out, or give it incorrect meaning. These obstacles are known as communication barriers.  

 

The Client Service Standards describes how clients can expect to be treated by staff of a real estate agency and sets out what is expected of clients, in order to achieve the best possible outcomes. 

 

Communication barriers can greatly affect the standard of service experienced by clients.  The video below covers these two topics.
