Components of statute law may include:
- principal legislation, such as Acts
- subordinate legislation, such as:
- approvals
- determinations
- mandatory and non-mandatory administrative guidelines
- orders
- regulations
So when it comes to reviewing and identifying components of a specific piece of legislation you would list the names of the Principal Act, the names of subordinate legislation, the names of regulations all which apply to this legislation.
